I must say that I share the author’s experience of Randian Zealotry while respecting some of the general tenets of her philosophy. Not only have I clashed horns with fanatics claiming to be her formal ideological heirs, but saw them try to hijack the [[Tea Party movement]] city by city (to the point people joked that a copy of “Atlas Shrugged” was a standard required component of protest supplies).
