In an article I wrote a few months ago about a chart on federal dollars going to various states, I detailed many of the possibilities of why some states received more dollars than others.  Well, somebody did the homework for me and answered the question.

In an article by CNBC, “States With the Most Federal Funding”, a slideshow explains state by state where the big money goes.  For example …

  • Details not given, but noted that on a per capita basis, expenditure for Texas is far less than most others states in the top ten list
  • All the top 10 prime awards went to [[Homeland Security]] within the states covered in the article.
