This video is not political in nature, but offers a huge lesson.  Because of being closer to the patient needs in communities where medical services are sparse, technological solutions geared toward the developing world may be where the real advances are made in our own issues of affordability and therefore access — if we will allow ourselves to dispense with the “bigger is better” model, and admit that any ‘health care reform’ from the top will unlimately prove inadequate because legislation and insurance is, after all, NOT itself health care.
